How to Start a Literary Arts Magazine
Considering a Lit Mag for your school?

A successful lit mag program consists of 3 stages:

  • Phase 1 - Students submit content for critique and acceptance.
  • Phase 2 – Students design the magazine with Friesens online and digital design software
  • Phase 3 - Launch your Literary Arts Magazine at a local book store or restaurant. Invite students, parents, teachers, school administration, school board and the community. Select several students to read their work in front of the group, sign and sell books to raise to raise much needed funds for your school.
